How many lessons will I need?
That will depend on your experience to date, and how you take to driving. Some students have experience driving with friends or family and only need a few lessons to prepare for the test. Others start their training with formal lessons, then get experience and hours with friends and family, and then polish their skills with pre-test lessons. Still others need formal lessons all the way.
It's really up to the individual. Call us to discuss the best approach for you.
Can I use my own car for lessons?
Lessons are provided in a automatic Honda Fit with dual controls. If you wish to learn to drive in manual you will have to provide your own vehicle.
What do I need to bring to my lesson?
Your valid Learners Licence. Wear comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear - no very high heels, jandals or bare feet please.
Whose car will I use for my driving test?
You can use your own car, or hire ours. If you choose to hire our car, then typically you will be booking our test package. This costs $75 - you will be picked up from your nominated location, given a pre-test lesson of around an hour to calm your nerves. Then we will take you to your test, and drop you back at home / work afterwards.
Who books my driving test?
You book the test yourself via the AA or NZTA, but if you wish to take the test in our car, make sure you check with us first to ensure availability.
